CIP Services

Offered on the last Wednesday of most months, the Orientation to Community Resources is a free, 90-minute overview of services in San Mateo County.

County employees, nonprofit agency staff, school counselors, business people and others in the community will find this orientation helpful. The work of the major service agencies in the county, both public and private, and the interaction between county and nonprofit agencies are explained. The services of the Community Information Program are also outlined and a presentation on how to best use the database is given. Each participant is given a packet of useful resource information.
