Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA)
Trouble with food? Obsessed with dieting or weight? You are not alone. There is a solution.
Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) is based on the 12 Steps of AA. They are a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience and mutual support, are recovering from the disease of food addiction. Members are men and women of all ages, from the U.S. and abroad. Some of them have been obese; others anorexic, bulemic or so obsessed with food or weight that they could not freely live their lives. Among them are people who have weighed as little as 62 pounds, as much as or more than 400 pounds and of normal weight, all obsessed with food and/or eating.
FA members have maintained normal weights and found freedom from obsession with food. There are no dues, fees or weigh-ins. For more information, including other meeting locations and times visit www.foodaddicts.org.
