Help at Home is a mini-reference guide published by the San
Mateo County Commission on Aging. This guide, which contains a wide variety of
information in a user-friendly format, is designed to assist San Mateo County
adults of all incomes to remain safely in their homes. Subjects covered in the
guide include: adult day centers, grocery shopping / food services, home care,
hospitals, medical insurance assistance, senior centers, senior dining centers,
support groups and transportation.
To obtain a free
copy of Help at Home, send an email to gaggero@plsinfo.org or
call 650-802-7950 and leave your name, contact phone number, requested number
of copies, and your mailing address. If you are requesting Help at Home from
a San Mateo County office, please provide us with your Pony number instead of
a mailing address. Please note that the most we can mail at one time is 40 guides.
If you would like more than 40, we ask that you arrange to pick them up at our office.
