Welcome to our e-newsletter!
March is Women's History Month, which highlights the achievements of women while recognizing the significant obstacles they had to overcome along the road to success, to paraphrase former President Bill Clinton.

Women's History Month was born in 1980 when President Jimmy Carter issued the first Presidential Proclamation calling on all Americans to remember the contributions of women. By 1987, Congress declared that March would be National Women's History Month. Be sure to check our Community Calendar for events being held in honor of Women's History Month.
